The following color patterns are used to indicate a status on Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2:

| Pulsing | Waiting for connection Device is not yet part of a Zigbee or Thread network. |
| Blinking fast | Suboptimal antenna orientation If the status light is blinking fast, the device is not mounted correctly. Remount the device so that the antenna is in a vertical position. |
| Off | If the status light is off, this can have multiple meanings: The device is joined to a Zigbee or Thread network. In normal operation, the light is off. The device is powered off. |
